691A Picket Placer
for Ornamental Iron and Wood Picket Placement

The width of the picket, or group of pickets, is specified. An odd number can be forced in order to center designs. The series of pickets can be offset from the starting end. Results are calculated to the nearest 1/100th of an inch, and can be displayed in decimal or in conventional fractional notation to a specified precision (8ths, 16ths, 32nds, or 64ths of an inch). Computations can also be done in metric units. Picket placement can be calculated to the centerline or leading edge of the picket.

The Picket Placer Handheld Calculator computes
the placement of iron or wood pickets along a horizontal run or
along a slope.

Each picket is 0.625" wide, and we want no more than 5.25" between pickets. The results are displayed to the nearest 16th of an inch. |
