Configuring the
ScotiaBank 638A
Handheld Calculator

After changing the batteries and from time-to-time, it may be necessary to configure the calculator. 

Push the [Setup]/[Code] key to start the configuration routine.

Enter a code of 15 to select the province and enter the proper code number from the following table, or you can press [No] until you see the province abbreviation appear, then press [Yes] to select it.

It is important to set the calculator up for the proper province to make sure the credit insurance premiums are computed properly.
