Frequently Asked Questions for the LeaseMaker for Palm Handhelds

Where do I buy a Palm Handheld?

Palm Handhelds are available at a wide variety of stores such as Staples, Circuit City and others, and there are hundreds of sources available on the Web.  Just search for Palm PDA and you'll find many.

You'll want to get one with a memory card slot to run the LeaseMaker.

Why is a memory card slot required?

Version 2.0 of the LeaseMaker has been rewritten to take advantage of the newest permanent memory cards available for the Palm PDA's. The program is permanently stored on the card along with your option selections. This way you can move the card from one Palm to another and keep not only the program but all your settings.

And if you inadvertantly let your Palm's batteries become uncharged, the program and your settings are not lost -- just charge the Palm up or move the card to another one.

The LeaseMaker 27B is provided on a CS Memory card which will work in either a MMC or SD Card slot.

How do I print the results?

On the Details... screen, click [Copy] at the top to copy the contents to the Palm clipboard.  Then open the Palm Memo application and paste the contents to a new Memo.

When you HotSync with your PC, you can view and print the Memo.

How do I order the LeaseMaker 27B for a Palm Handheld?

Complete this Order Form and fax or mail it to us at the address shown on the form.

We'll ship you a CS Card with the latest version of the LeaseMaker.

Can I get a hard copy of the program?

Version 2.0 of the LeaseMaker is delivered on a permanent memory card which you plug into your Palm (you need to have a Palm with a memory card slot). You can move the card from one Palm to another, and it will remember the program even if you let the batteries in the Palm become exhausted.

What if I lose my Authorization Code?

Version 2.0 of the LeaseMaker does not use an Authorization Code. If your Palm needs maintenance or you wish to buy another, just move the CS Memory card to your new machine. The program and all your settings will be on the new machine.

What if I replace my Palm?  Do I have to buy another copy of the program?

No, just move the CS Memory Card to your new machine.

How do I use the Memo, Contacts, Email or any other Palm Application?

If you have a question about one of our programs for the Palm such as the LeaseMaker or LoanMaker, by all means send it to us by email or call us.

However, questions about the many applications that are provided with the Palm Handhelds should be directed to the author of the software.  For the built-in applications that come with the handheld, this would be the maker of the particular handheld you are using (Palm, HandSpring, Sony, etc.).

For other applications, you should contact the author of the software.
